20 spicy and swoony Christmas romances new for 2025
It’s officially that time of year again where I share my annual list of the spicy Christmas romances that are new for this year.
This is always one of our most-viewed posts of the year and I start making this list as early as September to ensure I don’t miss anything good, and 2025 has some real good sounding Christmas romances for us this year. It’s almost like authors and publishing know that we need a bit of pep, some festivity, some merry and bright joy, this year because wow do we.
As always, a disclaimer regarding spice levels: I try to cover all spice levels in this list because what makes something spicy is a spectrum and I want everyone to be able to find a festive romance on this list with the level of spice that suits them.
There’ll be books on this list that are too spicy for some, and others which they don’t even consider spicy; that’s absolutely fine. Use this list as a launchpad to delve into some options for you this season. From rom-com to spice-fest, there’s something for everyone. Goodreads, Amazon reviews and romance Reddit threads are your friend if you want to know just how spicy a book is without getting spoiled.
So now the admin is out of the way, bring on the festive feelings!
